Kat McGee is one of the founding partners of EVR, as well as the facilitator of the retreats. She is reputed to be one of the most progressive yoga teachers and mindfulness coaches on the West Coast. She is also a certified Yogic Lifestyle Coach, Mindset Coach and Meditation Facilitator and is registered as an ERYT-500 Instructor with Yoga Alliance. Mona Therese Winston has been a teacher for over 30 years, teaching yoga, relaxation and meditation. Yin Yoga has become one of Mona’s favorite practices since it allows the mindfulness practice from meditation to immerse with body awareness on a deeper level. She is also a trained bodyworker of massage and reflexology which has given her a profound insight into the body/mind connection. At her first visit to India she was introduced to the practice of Zen Meditation and the teachings of Thich Nhat Hanh, and immediately realized she had to explore his teachings more. This desire brought Mona Therese to Plum Village for a long retreat in south of France, an experience which had a great and life changing effect on her.
Paul Teodo is a yoga, meditation teacher and musician from Los Angeles. He currently is teaching at the world-famous Yoga Barn in Bali, Indonesia. Prior to that Paul taught for 4 years at Bryan Kest’s Power yoga in Santa Monica, the world’s original donation based yoga studio. He was a senior teacher at the Yoga Collective in Venice Beach, and one of the original teachers at Unplug Meditation in Los Angeles. Paul was recently named the #1 Yoga Teacher in Los Angeles by the Culture Trip. Paul has a unique talent to teach both a very strong power/vinyasa class, while guiding deep meditations with his live music. Rebecca Turk is a sound healing practitioner, Reiki Master and transformation coach and is founder and CEO of SNDBath, a sensory sound healing company. Rebecca also has over 20 years of experience in global brand development and advising entrepreneurs and executives. She provides sound bath experiences for groups, special events, corporate wellness programs, yoga retreats and private sessions. As a trained sound practitioner Rebecca takes participants on a meditative and healing journey of sound. Sound healing works by using the frequencies of vibrations from sound healing instruments for relaxation and healing. Through her company, SNDBath, Rebecca’s intention is to open the minds of participants to new ways of coping with stress and anxiety as well as creating balance between mind, body and spirit.
Devarshi Steven Hartman, ERYT, Founder of Pranotthan Yoga School, former dean of the Kripalu School of Yoga and former Director of Professional Trainings at Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health. Devarshi has been a yoga student and teacher for over 45 years and is a former longtime Kripalu Ashram resident where he lived for nearly a decade living, studying and teaching yoga. Devarshi is the creator of two best-selling audio series The Essence of the Bhagavad Gita, and Satori – Simple Secrets to Inner Peace produced by Nightingale-Conant. Devarshi leads workshops and retreats around the country, teaches Pranotthan Yoga Teacher Trainings at the 200-hour, 500-hour and advanced levels. Nancy is a master teacher and creator of Yogabarre®, a core centric, full body workout that blends vinyasa-based yoga with key elements of barre. Nancy has been inspiring students, new teachers and clients with her secret to obtaining a long and lean body for over 30 years. Her training as a teacher began with her love for ballet and modern dance, which ultimately led her to the barre workout. Over many years of teaching, Nancy's class began to evolve, she realized that with the addition of yoga postures the class could become even stronger, thus Yogabarre was born. While raising her 6 children in Santa Monica, Nancy has led numerous teacher trainings, workshops and her signature class Norby Yogabarre.
Jovinna, E-RYT 500, YACEP, leads transformational programs around the world that explore human potential in mindfulness living, creativity and love through Conscious Dance, Yoga, and Meditation. Born and raised in a village in Singapore, she continues to infuse her life and work with a sense of reverence and awe that she learned from the temples and forests that surrounded her home. A well-respected teacher of yoga, conscious dance, and self-expression, Jovinna radiates a contagious quality of aliveness – in both movement and stillness – that students find liberating. Vivienne Lechner has been teaching yoga in the United States and Europe since 2012 with 500+ hours of training. She studied under the guidance of Paul Dallaghan, Richard Freeman, Brian Kest, Manju Jois, Joergen Christiansson and most recently Matt Champoux. While teaching Vinyasa and Ashtanga Yoga, her own practice is in the Ashtanga tradition.
Based in California, her work as a teacher, speaker and writer focuses on ontology and the philosophy of mind, investigated, explained and taught by Western esoteric traditions and Eastern spiritual philosophies. She is most interested in the intersection between the intimacy of all experiences and our inherent freedom.
Adam Jones began his acting career in middle school with a stunning performance in the Love Boat. He continued to stretch and grow his acting chops in High School and won a rare honorable mention as a freshmen, only to move on and win best actor and dancer in his senior year. After High School Adam was in several plays, musicals and one acts before moving to Los Angeles in order to take his acting career to the next level.
Adam currently teaches a dance class with GROOV3 and takes acting and improv classes regularly while shooting and performing in skits, short films, commercials, web series and features. And you can find him performing regularly with Panda City.
Ben Decker is a world-renowned meditation teacher and best-selling author of four books on meditation. His work focuses on the unification of society through emphasis on universal spiritual principles agreed upon by all major world traditions.
